Eccleston St Mary's CE Primary School

We are very lucky to be part of a wider church family in our village, with close links with St Mary's Primary School. Our school offers a happy, friendly, welcoming and nurturing Christian environment at the heart of the local community. We are very humbled to provide support in the form of foundation governors on the school's governing board.

We welcome pupils and staff to church on a regular basis for eductional visits, and to worship with us - either monthly at our Wednesday Eucharist or for their seasonal services. Fr Jordan also helps to lead the school choir, and attends school weekly to lead whole school worship.

St Mary's believe in the importance of developing well-rounded individuals and they feel that a child’s social and emotional development is just as important as their academic achievements.

The School Mission Statement is: ‘Through Jesus, we love, learn and grow’ it helps children to understand that with Jesus at the centre, they can live rich, varied and fulfilling lives. St Mary's also encourage their pupils to realise their responsibility towards other people, whether within our own school, the wider community or indeed globally.
