Families

Whether you are a regular at church, a newcomer, or are just wanting to know more, there is almost certainly something for you.

    • Throughout the parish there are many regular activities and events for children, young people, adults – indeed all members of the family
    • Some are held weekly and others less frequently, but there is something for everyone

Families

We extend a warm welcome to families.

We offer worship each Sunday tailored to the needs of families with children and young people, and there are also many activities which take place during the week. There is a Children’s Area in church where you will find a range of children’s books and activities which reflect our Christian life.

All Age Worship 3rd Sunday of each month

Worship is for everyone. We don’t believe that young people deserve second best. That’s why we want all children to participate in the thing Our Lord passed on to us to celebrate each week – the Holy Eucharist where we receive Holy Communion.

On Sundays which are designed specifically for all ages we have a shorter service with an interactive address. This means that there are themes and messages which adults will also enjoy. We want everyone to develop in their faith journey so you feel comfortable and confident to join us each week.

A good start is to come along to one of our All-Age eucharists. If you’re not confirmed, don’t worry come along to receive God’s blessing and if you want to know more, please speak to Fr. Andrew. ll leaders of events involving children have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that they are suitable people to be working with young children.

Child Protection Policy For Parents and Carers In the Parish we have a child protection policy and procedures for all work with young people for your peace of mind here. For more information please contact Suzanne Dixon
